well, not yet.
Had an email from a friend yesterday, who’s asking me to look at his shiny new laptop and to install the usual suspects - he bought it with pretty much nothing on it.
The only problem is I haven’t seen or worked with Vista before, at all. The Vista-buzz is so bad that I refuse to install it onto my machine (my free Vista-upgrade CD is stashed away at the back of my bookshelf).
In return for my Vista work, he’ll give me a shiny new Nokia N95 (he manages a mobile phone store). Not bad
So, it’s my tech/software skills in exchange for a shiny new phone. I’m just a wee bit worried about Vista, fearing it to be controlling, domineering, and prohibitive. I might even do some Vista-research before sorting out his laptop, as I don’t want to mess anything up.

i’m gonna make a statment that i might regret making.
I am actaullty starting to see ways vista is better, but this is mainly due to the layout.
But on saying that i’m still using XP
Vista is just so heavy. It’s not streamlined. It’s annoying, but some things are useful, like the tagging support.
