New WordPress Dashboard, New Header Image
WordPress have launched a new dashboard, and I’ve uploaded yet another new header.
The thing about this dashboard is that Zemanta has disappeared from my options, which I don’t mind too much, but still wondering why.
Thus far, I quite like the dashboard, apart from the widget section. For each widget column, you now have to select it from the dropdown-list first. It’s not too bad - but it does add another step to the process of changing widgets (I preferred drag&drop).
Re: my new header image, it’s not my final one. I’m experimenting a bit at the moment - the last two were Scotland ones, while this one is a grimy London one. From Limehouse in fact. I took it with my N95 camera - it’s 5 Megapixel, but I think the resolution is set pretty low (note to self: investigate).
Note also the pretentious ‘lenina 3.0′ Graffiti :P - I only did it as the pre-set WP header text of this theme is placed just where the DLR is, and I didn’t want that. The picture was taken at Limehouse Basin, today.

zemanta will come back. dunno what the issue was but it reappeared after a while
As anaj said, Zemanta will “come back”. You can also help it by clearing cache and restarting Firefox afterwards so your browser reads new version of our scripts with changes accommodating for new wordpress.com.
We also have a thread about this in our forums: http://getsatisfaction.com/zemanta/topics/april_wordpress_com_update
