I’m a 33-year-old female living in Hackney, London. I like British post-punk/indie, media, networks, and computers.

This blog was originally called Life After PhD. I started it as a diary to accompany the last year of my doctorate degree, which I was officially awared on July 6th, 2007.

I changed its name to Diary of a Screenhead as that’s what I do most: I’m constantly interacting with screens, including consoles (PSP, PS3, GBA), books, TV, and, most importantly, the computer screen.

In July, I got a new job (in a digital ad agency) and I am happily settled in.

My favourite place and where I feel home most is Edinburgh, Scotland. I put up with London because of my job.
